Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following ready:
  • Admin access to your CheckoutChamp account
  • Access to your Numeral account

Step 1 — Create an API User in CheckoutChamp

Numeral needs a dedicated user to communicate securely with CheckoutChamp. Do not use your regular login account. 1.1 Go to the Users page in CheckoutChamp. 1.2 Create a new dedicated API user. For reference, see the CheckoutChamp API Documentation. 1.3 Add the following IPs to the API user’s whitelist:
You must add all 6 IPs. If any are missing, the connection will fail.
44.239.47.99
34.217.165.100
44.239.45.96
52.41.70.142
35.86.36.89
54.212.227.116
1.4 Save the Login ID and Password of the API user — you’ll need them in the next step.

Step 2 — Connect in Numeral

2.1 In Numeral, go to Connections and select Add Connection → CheckoutChamp. 2.2 Enter the Login ID and Password from the API user created in Step 1. 2.3 Click Validate Credentials — the system will automatically verify your credentials. 2.4 If validation succeeds, the wizard will automatically advance to the next step.

Step 3 — Configure the Tax Service Plugin in CheckoutChamp

3.1 On step 2 of the Numeral wizard, click Open CheckoutChamp Documentation. 3.2 Follow the instructions on that page to enable the Numeral tax service plugin. For reference, see the Numeral Tax Plugin on CheckoutChamp. 3.3 Return to Numeral and click Confirm Connection to complete the setup.

What Happens After Connecting?

  • Numeral will automatically begin importing your order history.
  • Taxes will be calculated automatically on new orders through the configured plugin.
